This month's theme at B'nai Israel Day School has been "Around the World"! Each class has chosen a country from all over the world and our teachers are planning their activities around their "home country". The kids are having a blast and learning so much about their respective nations, but everyone's favorite activities seem to be centered around the food!
Ashley's Chinese students made stir-fry yesterday while wearing their kimono robes.
Peggy is making Irish soda bread for her little Celtic cuties.
Wednesday was a real treat for the Pre-K class when they got to visit Taste of Italy! Chef Beverly and Sous Chef Julie transformed their classroom into an Italian restaurant. The Pre-K students chose from Chef Beverly's menu complete with drink orders, entrees and desserts.
Many pictures and maybe even a recipe or two coming soon!
