This Friday, B'nai Israel is bringing the NYC acting troupe, Storahtelling , to Gainesville. They use music, life-size puppets and acting to bring the torah to life. From 4:30-6pm they will be presenting a musical performance of Noah's Ark designed for our students and all children ages 2-10. After that we will take a short walk to welcome Shabbat and then go to the community room for a family Kabbalat Shabbat program complete with songs, a skit and a story. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this program. I saw Storahtelling at a conference a few years ago and they were awesome. What a special Shabbat this will be- not only is it a special program but a chance for us to all celebrate Shabbat together. See you Friday!!!
