Green Peace GOOP

Shalom, Yarok class has been learning about keeping PEACE.  We made green peace goop out of borax, Elmer's glue. green food coloring and warm water.  The children got to mix up the ingredients on there own and I told them to shape it like the planet earth.  They loved the hands on texture it turned out to be.  This is a great messy play activity and when they were finished I placed there goop in a zip lock bag and they got to take it home to share with their family and friends.  We also read the Peace book so they understand what Peace really means.  Every time someone enters our classroom they make the peace sign with their two fingers.  They loved learning about peace!!!
